The Mars Volta are recording their fourth album, “The Bedlam in Goliath,” in Studio B with engineer Robert Carranza. Set for a fall release, bandmember Omar Rodriguez-Lopez is producing the record, as he did the last two Mars Volta albums. Engineer and mixer Robert Carranza is widely known and respected for his work with such artists as Los Lobos, Ozomatli, Jack Johnson, Beck, Eels, Molotov, and Supergrass.
